My Handwriting

So for today's post I thought I would give you a little insight into something very unique and personal to me: My handwriting. It varies from person to person which is why I thought it might be interesting to share it with you. Seeing as I've never seen another blogger do this sort of post before, I thought I'd give it a try and share with you this little part of my life.

My AS Level Results

Today has been one of the most dreaded and anticipated days of the school calendar, for both me and many other sixth form students: Results Day. That dreaded time of the year where we get to find out how did in our A-Level exams, and for many, if they got into their chosen universities.

I have only just finished year 12 so I am fortunate enough to only be picking up my AS-level results from the exams I took in June. I took 5 exams in 2 different subjects: Geography and Maths. Two of which were in geography and the other three were in maths.

I am currently on holiday in Florida at the moment so I wasn't able to go and pick up my results myself. Instead, my dad went to my school to pick them up for me. As it was someone else picking up my results, I had to wait slightly longer than most people before I got my results. Because of the 5 hour time difference, when I woke up this morning, most people back in England had already got their results so I was really scared yet excited to see how mine compared.

It was about 1 hour after I woke up, having already asked all my friends how they did, when I finally got a phone call from my dad telling me my results. I was over the moon! In my AS Levels I got:

What's In My Bag? Hand Luggage Edition

It seems like ages ago that my family and I were booking our holiday to Florida and now it's finally here! I am beyond the point of excited now - I'm practically bouncing off the walls! My family and I have only just finished packing and we are staying in a hotel tonight near the airport. RIP sleep.

One thing that I did struggle with was deciding what to take in my hand luggage and what to take in my suitcase; I would keep everything with me on the plane if I could! However, I did actually manage to decide what was important and what wasn't needed to be in my hand luggage. I'm actually fairly impressed with my prioritization skills.

Having managed to whittle my luggage down to the most important items to take onto the plane, I decided it would be fun to share with you all what's in my bag. The bag itself is a Vans rucksack which I thought would be much easier to carry around than a handbag and would give me a lot more room too!

The Essential Holiday Packing List

Given that its the summer holidays, a large number of lucky people are probably jetting off on their holiday abroad, or even going on a little get-away in the same country and I too am one of these lucky people! Of all the holidays I've ever been on, this is the one I am the most excited for: Florida!

I am very lucky to say that in three days time I will be on my way to Florida where we are staying in a friend's villa for two weeks! Of course, we have a very busy itinerary and we have already planned every single day: Disney, Universal, Epcot, Discovery Cove (and the rest!). We are doing it all! The whole shebang! This kind of holiday of course has cost my family a lot of money but its not very often we go abroad as a family so I am very grateful for the opportunity to go there!

With all this fun and excitement that comes with travelling and jetting off on holiday, there also comes the stresses of packing. Whether you're a last minute packer or one that does it way in advance, I have created a handy little recourse in order to make your life a little bit simpler: The Essential Holiday Packing List.

The Ultimate Summer Bucket List

Summer Bucket List

The summer holidays are finally here and my goodness do I need them! I feel like this 6 week holiday is much deserved after all the hard work that came with the start of my A-levels and so I couldn't be happier that they're finally here!

As much anticipated at it has been, now it's started, I struggle to know how to spend my time. We all do it - plan to go out every single day but end up staying inside for 6 weeks, curled up in bed scrolling through Instagram, admiring everyone else's exciting summers and wasting our own. But not this time! I have compiled a list of some of the best ways to spend your summer break so that you can finally get out and make the most of this much anticipated break!
